Good Soil is free and ad-free. The complete farming game works locally without an account. Accounts and online neighbour features are optional and available only to players who are at least 14 years old.

- Playing without an account
- Your farm is saved in local browser storage on that device. Clearing site data can erase that local save.
- Signing in
- Players 14 and older can use an email sign-in link or Google sign-in to sync a farm and use invite-only neighbour features.
- Neighbour safety
- Open Neighbours and choose “Block or tell a grown-up.” Blocking ends contact. Player-to-player messages are selected from fixed phrases; there is no free-text chat.
- Deleting an account
- Use the in-game Settings control or follow the account-deletion instructions.
